The following two videos were made as an ‘homage’ to our bicycle tour through Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. An amazing collection of sights, stories and cyclists we met during the trip, all wrapped into two videos explaining exactly why we (and so many others) do what we do.
Following our Central Asian adventure, I’ve created a series of 10 episodes that show you our bicycle tour through Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan in detail. We dive in to road conditions, food, money, landscapes, health and so much more.
Back in July and August of 2014, my brother and I set out to cycle 3000 miles from New York to Los Angeles, to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Lessons learned, we were not prepared and had to overcome challenges we'd never even thought of.
Being left alone for the latter part, the journey continued. From the green, steep Pennsylvanian hills to the dry and endless desert of California, I faced the challenge of cycling across a country that opened my eyes wide - and taught me to ride.
